Giveaway: Campbell’s No Salt Added Ready To Use Vegetable Broth

Giveaway: Campbell’s No Salt Added Ready To Use Vegetable Broth

Did you catch my last post? It was for a Broccoli Stir-Fry with a recipe for Gluten Free Teriyaki Sauce. The recipe is one that I developed for Campbell’s Gluten Free Broth Recipe Challenge. As a Canadian Blogger who was up for the challenge, I received a starter kit that included coupons for Campbell’s No Salt Added Ready to Use Vegetable Broth (in my opinion, it’s the next best thing to my homemade broth). These coupons are for me to give away.

Because I am passionate about feeding the hungry, my first thought was to give the coupons to a local food bank or community soup kitchen. When I mentioned this to my daughter, she suggested making it like a 50/50 Draw with half of the Prize going to charity. She’s a smart kid that one :-)

Congrats to Entry #19 Bev W. for winning the prize and NightShift Street Ministries will be getting a matching prize.

Campbells Soup Stock

On a side note; I noticed that Campbell’s Canada comes up often in searches for Canadian Food Banks and Community Kitchens. I like that. And no, they did not pay me to say that. They provided me with product to develop a recipe and gave me these coupons for Vegetable Broth but this is not a sponsored post, I was not compensated for my time.

  1. I’m always looking for items when I go grocery shopping that are both nutritious and affordable. Most grocery stores have a bin at the front of the store, and make it so easy to donate to a food bank or community cupboard, there’s really no reason not to!

I love having some veggie broth in my fridge or pantry to use as a base to put together a quick sauce. At the end of cooking some easy and quick fish, chicken or beef, I can always throw together a sauce with some broth and wine and herbs and use some mustard or butter or corn starch to thicken! easy

With vegetable broth, I would make Lemon Spinach Artichoke Risotto, Pizza baked gnocchi, and Chickpea Curry!

To support those living in poverty, we could make a pledge to give up some treat for a month (eg, coffee) and use the money that you save to donate to a cause that fights poverty.

I Use it in My “Lentil Curry with Butternut Squash Spinach Soup”

I like using vegetable stock when I make rice or when I poach chicken. So tasty! I love this idea for a giveaway- so thoughtful!
